CHATTANOOGA SYMPHONY AND OPERA ANNOUNCES 87TH SEASON

The Chattanooga Symphony & Opera announces their 2019/20 season the 87th season for the organization. Music programmed showcases a variety of guest artists and classical works throughout the season. The 87th season will also include a spring special event, Disney in Concert A Tale As Old As Time. 2019/20 subscribers have pre-sale access to this special concert event. Remaining tickets will be released for public sale on Aug. 1.The 2019/20 season has so many noteworthy programs. Our focus on female composers in our Masterworks and Chamber Series is an important one to me, says Samantha Teter, CSO executive director. Were offering a spotlight on the contributions of women in classical music, in addition to featuring several female guest artists such as Gloria Chien and Mela Dailey. As a Broadway lover myself, I couldnt be more thrilled to have the amazing Bernadette Peters with us in October. And the return of Disney in Concert, which sold out in 2016, will certainly delight all generations.
