Prostate cancer[1] is the most common type of cancer to be diagnosed in men, in the UK. The diseases affects the prostate - a small gland thats found in the pelvis in men. Its not always easy to know if youre at risk of prostate cancer, as the symptoms tend to develop very slowly over a long period of time. You could be at risk of prostate cancer if you not your urine stream is particularly weak, its been revealed.

A weak flow of urine could be one of the earliest warning signs of prostate cancer, said the NHS.

It may be caused by the cancer growing, and subsequently putting added pressure on the urethra.

It could even lead to passing more urine than normal, and having to strain to empty your bladder.

Prostate cancer does not usually cause any symptoms until the cancer has grown large enough to put pressure on the tube that carries urine from the bladder out of the penis, said the NHS.

Symptoms of prostate cancer can include needing to pee more frequently [often during the night], straining or taking a long time while peeing, and weak flow.
