HOME BUILDERS ASSOCIATION OF GREATER CHATTANOOGA ANNOUNCES 2017 AWARD WINNERS AND 2018 OFFICERS AND BOARD MEMBERS

The Home Builders Association of Greater Chattanooga celebrated its Annual Membership and Installation Dinner on Saturday at The Westin in downtown Chattanooga. More than 220 people attended the event that recognized member volunteer achievements and installed its 2018 executive committee officers and board of directors.

Executive Committee officers for 2018 include President Jay Bell, Bell Home Builders; Vice President Gabe Thomas, Collier Construction; Treasurer Jordan Cornelison, P&C Construction; Karl Sodergren, Sodergren Land Company and First Commerce; Immediate Past President Mike Croxall, Croxall Construction; and Association Council President Clay Cochran, Jody Millard Pest Control.

Several HBAGC members were recognized for their extraordinary contributions to the association, industry and community, including:

Rookie of the Year

Kelly Elmore, Mark Hite Team, Keller Williams Realty

Doc & Tracy Denton, Better Homes & Gardens, Signature Brokers

Associate of the Year

Karen Flores, SmartBank

Ralph Chumley Service Award

Marty Hilliard, Home & Lawn Care Services

Builder of the Year

Jay Bell, Bell Home Builders

Developer of the Year

Barry Payne, Barry Payne Development

Presidents Award

Presidential Award: Peaches Searles, American Rooter & Portables

Presidential Award: Jordan Cornelison, P&C Construction

Presidential Award: Dale Mabee, Urban Renaissance Group

Dr. Bryan Johnson, Hamilton County Superintendent of Schools, was the keynote speaker.
