Christmas arrived a few days early for music fans in Chattanooga when Friends of the Festival announced the first scheduled performances forRiverbend 2018[1].

All the rowdy friends will be coming over on opening nightwhen Hank Williams Jr. performs on the Coke stage at 9:30 p.m. June 8 to kick off the festival.

In addition, several other performers were announced: Delbert McClinton June 15, Mitch Rossell June 10, Gangstagrass June 8 and The Shadowboxers June 15.

Riverbend will take place on Chattanoogas Riverfront June 816. More announcements are expected soon.

Williams will perform hits such as Theres a Tear in My Beer, Good Ol Boys, Family Tradition and A Country Boy Can Survive.

General admission tickets go on sale Jan. 1.

Guests canalso sign up for the Riverbend VIP experience for $220 per ticket, which is good for all eight days of the festival and allows access to a cash bar, catering, private restrooms, a parking pass and more.
