EAST RIDGE OFFICER GRADUATES FROM FBI NATIONAL ACADEMY - THE CHATTANOOGAN

The East Ridge Police Department announce that Lt. Clint Uselton graduated from the 276th session of the FBI National Academy on Friday. Lt. Uselton has been with the department since 1999.

He currently serves as the patrol commander, overseeing day and night shift. Lt. Uselton graduated with 255 law enforcement executives from around the world. Less that one percent of all law enforcement officers in the world are selected to attend.

The FBI National Academy is a professional course of study for U.S.

and international law enforcement managers nominated by their agency heads because of demonstrated leadership qualities. The 10-week programwhich provides coursework in intelligence theory, terrorism and terrorist mindsets, management science, law, behavioral science, law enforcement communication, and forensic scienceserves to improve the administration of justice in police departments and agencies at home and abroad and to raise law enforcement standards, knowledge, and cooperation worldwide.
