CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.

At its regular Tuesday night meeting, Chattanooga City Council members got the wheels rolling on a study to determine where to put a new skatepark.

There already is a skatepark on Carter Street.

A spokesperson for the city says the study will determine if updates need to be made to the current park, or if a new one should be built.

The study will cost the city a little under $74,000.

No specific locations are mentioned for the potential new park.
